5 Things to Like About being a teen
*this post is done in partnership with OLLY
Hey guys, Nadya here, taking over the blog for today. I’m really excited to be turning into a teenager. I hear lots of things both good and challenging about being a teenager, but I think it’s really cool, and here are five reasons why I think becoming a teenager is so awesome.
Right at the top of the list is to wear makeup. I still don’t get to do it fully for a little bit, but at least I’m close.
Learning to drive: While it's still a few years off, I’m super excited about learning to drive a car. It looks so fun.
Cooking all by myself. Sure, I’ve helped out in the kitchen a whole bunch, but I want to do complicated things all by myself. Bonus for everyone, right?
Exploring the city on my own. It’s very fun going out as a family, but I want to be able to explore and go places all by myself, just like grownups do.
Taking the vitamins that are NOT for kids. Staying healthy and fit is really important right now, and I can’t wait to feel more grownup and be like a kid anymore. My mom got me some these OLLY vitamins especially for girls from 12 and up, and this is one of the most fun highlights for me. My sisters want them and have been asking every time, and it's so fun to be able to say, “Nope, you are too little for it.” Sure, lots of people say that you should be getting all your vitamins from the food you eat, and that’s true, except when you are so busy as every teenage girl is, there is some time I’m not very diligent about eating all my meals and lunches because I just don’t have enough time. Like my mom said, this way it ensures that I’m healthy all the time and have the energy for everything that I need because these vitamins have:
Vitamins A, C & E + Zinc help fight free radicals to support clear, healthy skin from the inside out.
Biotin supports the production of keratin, an essential protein for shiny hair and strong nails.
A boost of Vitamin B12 supports cellular energy production.
Vitamin D & Calcium work together to support strong bodies and bones.
Vitamins C & D + Zinc give her immune system a little love to help her stay healthy
Brilliant B’s support your cell’s ability to generate energy and keep you feeling fine.
No artificial colors or flavors and gluten-free
So, those are five of my things I’m looking forward to as I become a teenager, what are yours? Let me know, I’d love to read your comments.
