Budget Friendly BTS Style
* Thank you JCPenney for sponsoring this post.
If you read my Instagram, you have probably seen that we have gone to JCPenney quite a few times recently. A couple of fashionable things caught my eye as we were getting some of the basic necessities in preparation for the new school year. Girls even when little, are still women, so they wanted to try a couple of outfits. We had a few minutes to spare, so I thought it would be fun. As they tried some of the things, we picked from the Arizona Brand, it not only impressed me how nice the clothes fit, but how fashion forward and affordable they were at the same time.
Even though kids are little men or women in the making, they still are kids, and they do take full advantage of recess time or playground hour, as they should (this is what childhood is for), but that can take some serious toll on clothes, so having something that is very affordable and won’t break the bank to replace, should there be a need, is always a good idea in my books.
We picked up a few outfits that are very on trend at the moment. They didn’t have some of the sizes that we needed in the store, so I checked the JCPenney Online store for sizing and got totally sucked into very fashion forward women’s options. As you’ve probably read here, one of my personally focuses right now is to highlight the niche of postpartum styling and find options that are flattering, fashionable, and it's great when those options are budget friendly too so that there is no shoppers guilt.
The girls and I spent a couple of very fun hours putting together outfits for me as well. It made me feel so good to put new clothes on, and it's been a fun little fashion adventure. Being a mom, even a mom of a newborn is just as good of a reason to dress up and feel good about yourself, as it is to dress to impress in the office, if not even more important. In this situation, the people you are impressing (the kids) are the most important judges because they are learning by watching, and will follow their parent’s example in their future lives.
Here are some of the outfits that we put together. I really like the Arizona Brand, but there are many other nice options too. I love that denim is a big trend right now. In my opinion, a girl can never have too many cute pairs of jeans, but staying feminine is important too I think. So, I’m loving the mix of current trends. What are you looking forward to in fall fashion?
