Gluten Free Mother's Day Treats

Gluten Free Mother's Day Treats

Ladies,  bookmark this post, and accidentally forget your phone right in front of your husband’s nose because this is the sweetest thing ever, and it doesn’t have to be a Mother’s Day weekend. Justin and kids did the whole “we love you Mommy” cookie thing. I loved it: my favorite gluten-free Bob's Red Mill! Apparently, Elia and Evyainne  couldn’t decide between chocolate chip or chocolate chocolate chip. So, I had the pleasure of having both! I love having little kids because they will always make sure I have my fair share of the cookies. I put a video that Nikola took in the Stories. Go watch it, those are some candid moments. The recipes are super simple:

Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, light or dark.

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt.

  • 2 tablespoons butter, at room temperature.

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract.

  • 1 large egg.

  • 2 cups Bob’s Red Mill all purpose almond baking flour

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a baking sheet, or line it with parchment.     Combine the brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and butter, and mix until smooth. Mix in the vanilla, egg, and almond flour, stirring to combine. Scrape the bottom and sides of the bowl, then mix for 1 minute at medium speed. Spoon onto the baking sheets and flatten slightly. Bake for 9 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and Enjoy!
