Getting your body back after having a baby is one thing I am often asked about. Here are some things that have helped me:

Pilates

Both, mat and reformer, but I give 90% if the results to the reformer. It is not cheap, but I highly recommend at least one or two sessions with an instructor. I had a privilege of having an “in-house” instructor in the busy dancing days, but the technique is extremely important to get the results.
Whole Body Method is great in LA.

If you know places in your area - comment below for others to find them too!

Postpartum corset

I give this little things another 90% of success. I put my on immediately after birth. It helps with recovery and it helps for organs and muscles to go back to their shape. Also supports loose joints after the birth. Make sure to get the medical grade one - others can be damaging or not effective.
I used Bellefit from my 3rd baby on.

Body wrapping techniques

I swear by these. When done right, they achieve multiple functions: help the body to go back to its natural shape ( the elastic bandages), they help with hormonal balance because of the detoxification ( which , i feel, is important. There are lot of adjustments the body has to deal with after the baby), and the biggest of all - they help the skin to come back to its original shape. The key is persistence and consistency. I really saw the results after the 7th baby once I put effort into actually doing what is required from my side. A great one in LA that is safe during breastfeeding is LA Slim Wrap.

What helped you after the baby?
