A Little 2019 Financial Tune-Up
Thank you Lexington Law Firm for sponsoring this post. A high service partner and consumer advocate that will help you fight for the credit you deserve!
Justin here, chiming in today. Although we don’t often talk to much when it comes to finances here on LivingNotes, the simple fact is that it is a part of a healthy lifestyle. With the start of the new year, it is great time to take a step back and check in on the financial goals that you have in place.
This month we decided to team up with Lexington Law Firm to share a few things that could be helpful to many couples and individuals as they look at their goals. I actually have had different times throughout my own life where Lexington Law Firm was very helpful. Most of you may know about them from their messages about repairing credit, but they also have been very helpful to us over the years in adopting good strategies to strengthen credit.
I still remember as a newly married couple we were very new to the credit industry, as I had not received any education or help about what I needed to know about credit, and unfortunately we made a classic mistake that people can make if not informed. When moving to a new apartment that needed a washer and dryer, we went to a nearby department store and followed the salesman’s advice and applied for the store financing to be able to purchase the units. Our Landlord would be reimbursing us for the purchase so we didn’t really think anything of it.
The downfall was that since we were brand new with credit and didn’t have much history, we didn’t get approved for a high enough amount on one card. They had to open 3 different credit accounts all on the same day. It may seem like a small thing, but it affected our credit in a poor way to open that many new accounts all on the same day, and shortly after that we went “loan shopping” for a car loan and that took a toll on our scores.
I looked into the Lexington Law Firm back then and they helped me to improve those mistakes and rebuild my history, but the other thing that they let me know about to be aware of was any errors that could be there. Sure enough when we did that appliance purchase, there ended up being a 4th account that showed up with a zero balance, but it was still an error and needed to be removed. With the high growth of the credit repair industry over the years, there has been and increase in fact vs fiction about what should be fixed in your credit report.
Lexington Law Firm can be a great help and partner to work with to remove errors that can show up without warning on your credit report. Every year millions of Americans are denied credit simply because of errors that are no fault of their own. These errors can often be difficult to remove without help, so this is an area that can help many people, even if they maintain good credit habits.
The Lexington Law Firm offers packages for as little as $24.95 per month, so it really can be an affordable access to qualified help from a group that is respected, skilled, and very knowledgeable in this field of credit repair. With access to their new app, customers also have easy access to tools they can use on a day-to-day basis with their credit in real time.
The best part about all of this is know that with a little help to stay on track for our financial goals, we can really focus on what is most important and that is being able to spend the quality time together as a family out doing the things we love and finding new things to explore and experience.
